Love is the feeling of liking somebody or something very much.
Love is the attraction of one person to another person, object, or sensation. People argue about whether animals can experience love. Love is related to chemical reactions in the brain. Eating chocolate gives off the same chemicals in the brain, giving one some feelings just like love.
Lots of people think that there is a difference between being "in" love and loving someone.

There are many kinds of love: self-love, divine love, love for another person (family member, friend, lover), just to name a few. In fact, love does not even have to include people; for example, love can exist toward to an object or idea. Psychology divides love into three basic kinds: brotherly love, romantic love, and physical love. People think that having all three makes true love.
Often love can be confused with another feeling, such as sexual attraction, affection, or obsession. There are examples when love can be destroyed; love was once there, but another feeling, such as jealousy or anger, has taken over the feeling of love.
Love is based on respect, admiration, and communication. Respect must be there in order for love to grow. One cannot love someone or something one disrespects or hates, or is unable to communicate with.

People describe the person that they loved when they were youngest as their first love. For example, in William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is Juliets very first love; she was only 14. In Maria Edgeworths book Belinda, when Mr. Vincent says, "First loves are silly things," wise Mr. Percival says, "First loves...are not necessarily more foolish than others; but the chances are certainly against them...From poetry or <
